When things start to get crazy and feel like they are building up you really have two options. Option 1: You can let it stress you out and continue to take you on a downward spiral until you hit rock bottom. Option 2: You can “stop the train” and take some time to gather yourself.
Whether you are a high school or college athlete with the stress of school, sports, and a boyfriend/girlfriend — or a professional with the stress of work and a spouse or children you probably would much rather choose the second option. How do you do this? Well there are many different ways that can work depending on who you are.
Here is a link to a blog on how you can take 5 minutes each day to keep your sanity. There is nobody that can say they don’t have 5 minutes a day, so this CAN work for anybody!
Here is the link. Thank you to Nate Green for another great blog post. Enjoy!

When it comes to upper body strength a lot of athletes think of the bench press. Here is a great blog on why you should also be doing rows. A great read to help keep you ahead of the competition. Thanks to Dr. Phil Wagner for the blog.
